Trying to get an update from the company web site is a challenge unless you take a chance that the trial download is identical to the release (why do they call it trial on the disk image then?). Where this product (so to speak) fails is the company's support. This is an indispensable tool for anyone who deals with Linux on a regular basis from the Mac and **especially* anyone who works with Raspberry Pi single board computers or does custom firmware development for non-RTOS systems (Linux is bloated for embedded work but.) It shows the linux partitions on the flash drives and external drives, allows me to edit them, even put custom macOS icons on them.

If not, release a free "licensing activator" in the Mac App Store that enables this software to run when it is downloaded from the site purely by virtue of the licensing activator's "in app purchase" through the Mac App Store.ĭown one more star, does not use system installer but instead some other bogus installer which did not come for free and thus I had to pay for it as part of my registration. Recommendation: Put this software in the Mac App Store. 1 - awesome core operation 2 - poor use (lack thereof) of macOS keychain for remembering login 3 - login to software to validate ownership on Mac is nuts 4 - booting from external disk that you haul back and forth from work or use as your "computer" between machines means deauthorizing and authorizing all the time 5 - combine #4 with #1, #2 and #3 and this becomes highly frustrating software.
It would get 6 stars out of 5 if it weren't for the fact that the company thinks of it's customers as thieves and puts a hefty burden on the customer with the licensing hokey pokey.
Really like this software and am so very impressed on how it maintains it's operation even on beta versions of macOS (like macOS 11).
